In this guide we’ll be teaching you how to set up Google Search Console

Step 1: Go to Google Search Console

• Follow this link then click the Start Now button on the page

Step 2: Select a Property type either:

• Domain
• URL Prefix

Step 3: Verify your site ownership

• If you picked URL Prefix you will see two verification method, one is called recommended verification method and the other is called other verification method.
• Under other verification methods click HTML Tag and copy the tag
• Once you’ve copied the tag you only need the part that comes after the equals to sign (=); the texts and numbers that are in quotations (“ “) you don’t need the quotations, just the texts and numbers in them.
• Go to your website site settings, under SEO you’ll see a space labeled Google site verification ID. Paste what you’ve copied there.
• Publish your site
• Go back to Google Search Console and Click the Verify Button under the Other verification methods.
